You can now award your users with Certifications after completing resources, events, or pathways.
To access Certifications, head to your main toolbar:
If you do not see Certifications listed on your account, please get in touch with your Client Success Manager or Sales Manager to get this activated on your account.
Head to Manage Certifications, where you'll be able to create a new Certification or manage existing templates:
To create a new Certification, select + New Certification and give your Certification a title and description:
You can then set up the requirements. Choose either a resource, pathway or event that needs to be completed in order to generate the Certification:
You can choose multiple for each category e.g. 4 resources or 2 pathways.
Please bear in mind that it is only possible to include single events within a Certificate NOT a Recurring event series.
The default template will be automatically set under 'Template'. To change this, head to Manage Templates. Here you can create a new template or select an existing one from the drop-down menu.
To create a new template, select + New Template and give your template a name. You can then choose which fields you'd like to insert into the canvas, and change the font type, color, and position of each of the fields:
The fields can be positioned anywhere within the template, however, the left hand alignment is the best way to manage your certificate designs.
To delete an element, simply click on the field then select backspace.
Once you're happy with your design, select save changes and then click preview to view it:
You can also create your own image for the certification. To do this, follow the steps above, but before adding custom fields to the certification, you'll first need to select an image. A tool like Canva is great for creating images as you can add your own branding, colours and font.
First select the image icon from the canvas tools:
You can then resize and align your image.
Once you've done that, you can choose from the other fields. The example below shares an image I have created, with just a email option added where the user's email will go upon completion. Everything else is a part of the image that I created in Canva:
When you go back into your Certification settings, you'll see this new template available to select from the drop-down menu under Templates:
You're then ready to head to Access where you can lock your Certification so it's ready to go:
You can then share the Certification with a user or groups and they will be able to view their enrolled Certifications on the main dashboard:
You also have the option of sharing Certifications via Campaigns. To do this, create a Campaign and select 'Share a Certification' under actions:
You can then choose your Certification and select a time and date to share it with the user(s).
When your users have completed the required task, e.g. completing a resource or pathway, they will then unlock their Certification:
You can view who has received a Certification by heading to 'Analytics' - 'Certifications':
Get creative with your certificate design. Each aspect of the certificate can be customised to reflect your company's branding. If you'd like to learn more, reach out to your CSM for some examples from fellow clients or start a conversation on the Looop community!
